With over a dozen “flavors” of AutoCAD in their portfolio, Autodesk marketing had a problem. How to quickly and easily direct online customers to the best choice(s) of AutoCAD for their particular needs? How to present product comparisons in an easily consumable format? How to make it so simple that an overworked, sleep deprived industrial design engineer could navigate through it and be looking at solutions in under 30 seconds?
The Boldium team was up to the task. Using an iterative design process, we built a simple, easy to use tool that quickly gets customers to the product they want. Customers click on an attribute and are instantly delivered a small list of products to choose from. With just a few more clicks, they can then choose relevant products and compare them feature by feature.
Best of all, the system we built not only tracks users every click, but can easily be updated. So once the system was built, the fun had only begun. Boldium worked with Autodesk to experiment with various user flows and designs to find out which one was the best.
