Junior Frontend Developer

Boldium, a design agency in Berkeley, CA, is looking for a full-time junior front-end developer. You’ll be assisting our creative technology team to develop well-tested, high-quality HTML, CSS, and JS for WordPress sites, custom API-driven apps, e-commerce sites, and more. This would be a fantastic role for a rockstar fresh out of code school, and is on-site only.


Deep understanding of CSS and a preprocessor (LESS or SASS)

Comfortability with at least one major JS framework (React, Vue, Ember, Marionette/Backbone, etc)

Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

Familiarity with build tools (Gulp or Grunt) and package managers

Understanding of Git (we use GitHub)

Familiarity with WordPress and WordPress template structure


Build and test email templates

Test and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues

Develop views for web applications, websites, and campaigns

Grow with our creative technology team to learn new technologies and skills as needed
