Fast-tracking AI adoption through story

The key insight

Many small businesses feel overwhelmed by new technologies like AI. They’ve grown used to inefficiencies and often don’t realize what they’re missing. We needed to show not just how Dash works—but why it matters—using metaphors that made the pain points relatable and the solution real.

The bold strategy

We paired sharp creative with strategic foundations—conducting demographic research, creating personas, and building a campaign strategy. We then led end-to-end video production—from concept and scripting to animation, live action, and sound design—plus crafted battle cards to support positioning and adoption.

Highlighting the cost of "business as usual"

In the first explainer video, we opened with a real-world stat: 25% of calls go unanswered—and made it both funny and memorable with a live-action plumber who suddenly loses the bottom of his plunger. From there, we showed how Dash’s voice agent solves the problem.

Turn AI into a power-up

In the second Dash video, we showed how running a small business can feel like a never-ending race. Using a video game metaphor, we positioned Dash as the power-up that helps SMBs stop falling behind—and start winning.

Make the hook relatable

Advertising can often feel like casting a line and hoping for the best—so we hooked viewers with a fishing metaphor, using the humor of reeling in strange objects to make the problem instantly relatable. Then we brought Brand Amp’s unique value to life in a clear, memorable way.

Bring the story to the site

We also redesigned LocaliQ’s main website to reflect the same clarity and confidence. We used animation to tell the story, infographic-style layouts to highlight benefits, and real, relatable photography to replace stock. Bold, modular testimonials gave social proof a fresh, standout feel.

Takeaways for your next project

Start with what they're feeling

AI adoption doesn’t begin with features—it starts with empathy. Framing the product around familiar frustrations made the solution more relevant for our audience.

Use metaphors to make it memorable

Complex products need simple frames. Plungers, video games, and fishing lines helped turn abstract AI benefits into something people actually remember.
